peaceful rural location, with stunning views over the
Shropshire countryside, it offers spacious and
luxury accommodation. The house was converted from a barn, dating from the late 1700’s. Work began on converting the barn in April 2001 and completed in March 2002. The painstakingly slow progress was due to strict building regulations which meant that the building work had to be undertaken in sections, retaining much of the original as possible. The owner’s attention to detail and the quality of the finish also meant a rapid project conclusion was not possible! The Owl House gets its name from a Little Owl who used to perch on the roof of the barn. Thankfully, despite the building disruption, he returns with a mate in the Spring - he thinks its
luxury accommodation too!
