The Owl House holiday cottage has views over almost the whole of the garden. To the front there are views of the pond and the Shropshire countryside beyond.

To the rear, the french doors lead onto a paved patio with seating, raised fishpond, flowerbed and barbeque.

At the furthermost point of the garden is a mown walkway through a developing woodland area.

The pond is stocked with goldfish and carp, some as large as 10lbs. Visitors can enjoy feeding them fishfood (provided) and they especially love white bread! Set beside the pond is a summer house and decking area which is a very pleasant spot to sit and relax and watch the heron do a spot of fishing!

We have visiting foxes, ducks, moorhens, little and tawny owls, pheasants, partridges, sparrowhawks and buzzards and occasionally a pair of swans land on the pond - we like to think we provide luxury accommodation for ALL our visitors!

We have been fortunate enough to have an osprey stop off for a couple of days on it’s migration route to South Africa.
